MLRA TIP: TURN FRICTION INTO MOMENTUM

I hate conflicts. Yes, for someone who deals with people and participates in several collaborations, I dread the thought of it.

Thankfully, Mr. Michael Gelb’s Art of Connection made me change this outlook. In his book, he shared that we can turn friction into MOMENTUM.

The way we think about conflicts determines how we respond to them. And we will be able to respond more creatively if we embrace these 3 attitudes:

1.) Conflict is normal and natural aspect of life

2.) Conflict is essential to the creative process

3.) Conflict isn’t a contest

His words were truly an eye opener for me on how I should see conflict and use it positively.

May it also guide you this 2025 and onwards as you deal with clients, fellow brokers and fellow members within real estate organizations.
